I think it’s incredibly interesting that the issues below have not been addressed. After all they were campaign planks, main points of criticism or promises made by the president and his party. Yet there’s relatively no mention of this in the mainstream media:
· Putting an end to the practice of “renditions.”
· Ending warrantless wiretaps.
· Ending communications intercepts.
· Disposing of the Patriot Act ("shoddy and dangerous").
· Closing the Guantanamo Bay detention facility.
· No new taxes (for 95 percent of the American public).
· A public healthcare reform bill – now a health insurance reform bill
(with/without/with/without a public option).
· "We'll post all proposed legislation on the Web, 72 hours in advance of a vote."
· Combat brigades out of Iraq.
· Engage Iran in meaningful dialogue.

I guess what he said is true: "Words don't matter."
