Ooops!

With just one awkward transition, CNN's Wolf Blitzer had folks doing double-takes as he reported on the Iranian nuclear deal Saturday night:
"I'm Wolf Blitzer, reporting from Washington. The assassination of President Kennedy begins right now."
WHAT?!?!?
Blitzer's reference to a CNN documentary airing Saturday night about the JFK assassination 50th anniversary, was written and delivered in a very ham-handed way.
To say the least...

"Presidential depression"...

Saturday Night Live skewers Barack Obama...again.

Ouch.

Nancy Pelosi taken apart by David Gregory on false Obamacare promises

On this morning's edition of "Meet The Press," Obamacare cheerleader/co-architect Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) was once again shown to be what she is: A liar.

"We have to pass the bill so you can find out what's in it." -- Pelosi in the run-up to the vote on the Affordable Care Act (aka: Obamacare).

O', what a tangled web she weaves...

Who is (still) having the "worst week in Washington, D.C.?"

The answer: Barack Hussein Obama.

First, his old pal, Billy Jeff Clinton, pulls the rug out from under him by...wait for it...telling the truth.

Then, Health & Human Services came clean with it's data (finally): "Healthcare.gov Enrollment Falls Far Short of Expectations, Only 26,794 Sign Up."

Then, the infamous Obamacare website woman's identity was revealed...and we learned that she never gave permission for the White House to use her photo, she was never paid for its use, she hasn't signed-up for Obamacare...and she's not a U.S. citizen.

Then, we learned that Obamacare (in Colorado) is being pitched in dumb, sexist, and "slutty" ads...

Then, we learned that a leader on the Healthcare.gov project wrote a memo warning of "limitless" security risks for the website...

Henry Chao: "Danger, Will Robinson! Danger!"

And then...and then...and then...

The list goes on.

Obama admits he would break his promise...before Obamacare passed

Obama has always insisted he would keep the Obamacare promise -- except for this one time in 2010 when he told the truth.

What do you call 8-9 million people losing health care coverage they like, in a nation of 300 million? (Actually, probably more like 15 million at the low end, several tens of millions at the high end.)

A rounding error?

The transcript:

REP. ERIC CANTOR (R-VA): "…Because I don’t think you can answer the question in the positive to say that people will be able to maintain their coverage, people will be able to see the doctors they want, in the kind of bill that you are proposing..."

PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA: "Since you asked me a question, let me respond. The 8 to 9 million people you refer to that might have to change their coverage — keep in mind out of the 300 million Americans that we are talking about — would be folks who the CBO, the Congressional Budget Office, estimates would find the deal in the exchange better — would be a better deal. So, yes, they would change coverage because they got more choice and competition."

Is Kathleen Sebelius about to "go under the bus?"

It sure sounds like it.

In an interview with NBC's Chuck Todd (video above), the president was asked -- more than once -- if he still had confidence in HHS Sec. Kathleen Sebelius (whose department was responsible for the ill-fated Obamacare enrollment roll-out). To no one's surprise, Mr. Obama dodged the questions.

Kathleen Sebelius and Barack Obama. (Not pictured: Bus.)

Anyone want to venture a guess why Sebelius didn't get a rousing vote of confidence from her boss?

Anyone want to venture a guess what fate probably awaits Sebelius?
