Debbie Downer surrenders...

Just last week, Florida Democratic hack and DNC leader Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL) was repeating the lies/"messaging"/hopes of the Obama Administration regarding the Affordable Care Act roll-out.

Now that those lies have come undone and been widely discredited, the messaging has moved from "too much traffic!" to, "well, it doesn't look good."

As noted, observer Dan McLaughlin Tweeted, "This is what it looks like when something becomes so indefensible [that even] the last hacks give up."

So on the Obamacare mess, Debbie -- and her fellow hacks -- have effectively surrendered.

One victory at a time!

"We own the economy"...

You sure do, Debbie. You sure do...

From The Washington Examiner: "We own the economy. We own the beginning of the turnaround and we want to make sure that we continue that pace of recovery, not go back to the policies of the past under the Bush administration that put us in the ditch in the first place,” DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz told this morning's Politico Playbook Breakfast.

Do as she says...

...not as she does.

'Debbie Does Bailouts" - Democratic National Committee Chairperson Debbie Wasserman-Schultz...

Remember when the Administration and the Democrats in Congress were pushing for the Federal bailout of the U.S. auto industry?

One of those championing a bailout was then-Rep. Debbie Wasserman-Schultz (D-FL), the new chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee, who practically led the charge against Republicans opposing President Barack Obama's pro-union efforts.

"If it were up to the candidates for president on the Republican side," she declared, "we would be driving foreign cars. They would have let the auto industry in America go down the tubes!"

Want to guess what country Little Debbie's car comes from?

It starts with a "J" and ends with "apan." That's right, the Debster drives a 2010 Infiniti FX35 that is built by Nissan in Tochigi, Japan.

Way to put your money where your mouth is, Debbie!

A little infighting never hurt anyone, right?

Just another day at DNC headquarters?

Al Franken (D-Minn) shuts down Joe Lieberman (D-Conn). Nothing like a little in-house squabbling, eh?

The esteemed U.S. Senator from Minnesota...

The guy who is taking all the heat these days...

Who was White House spokeshole Robert Gibbs talking about when he said this? – “I don't think any rational person would say killing the bill makes a whole lot of sense at this point." Was it, a.) the GOP leadership; b.) Rush Limbaugh; c.) Dick Cheney; or, d.) the former head of the Democratic National Committee and former Dem presidential candidate Howard Dean…? (If you picked d. Howard Dean, you win.)

The Scream Machine unleashed - again...

I can’t believe those dolts are attacking the president, again! Wait – what?...They’re liberals?
This is interesting – a Democrat lauding George W. Bush’s leadership and decrying his own party’s lack of such...and the U.S. Americans...

What if they held a fight and only one side showed? Well, now they’re fighting...each other.

Here's to the winners...

Bits & Pieces

I've been sifting through my inbox...here are a few things worth checking out:
  • From Philly's own Fatima Ali: "We don't have to wait until after the election for a race war. We're in one now." You've got to read the whole thing to believe it.
  • Remember that carbon offset effort the Democrats undertook in tandem with their convention in Denver? "The program, set up by the DNC Host Committee through the Denver Convention and Visitors Bureau and rolled out about a week before the convention started, raised a total of $18.34 worth of Canary Tags, offsetting 0.9 tons of carbon emissions." (According to AspenDailyNewsOnline.) I suppose almost nothing is better than nothing at all.
  • If you're going to threaten to blow up "The San Francisco Tribune," you might want to make sure it actually exists -- first.

That's one way to cook 'em.

Extra: I grabbed this photo from TheJay.com...a terrific blog I discovered today. Makes you wonder if Eddie Murphy might need a new PR person.
