"Those are horrible words!...except when our friends use them."

Without wading too far into the mess that Rush Limbaugh made for himself, let's look at the amazing (but not surprising) double standard that exists for those on the Left.

The video clip at the bottom of this post - produced by SHE PAC - pays particular attention to "comedian" Bill Maher - a loathsome fellow, really - who has practically made a career out of being a Republican-hating misogynist. (He also made news, recently, by donating $1 million to the president's Super PAC.)

President Obama's Super PAC, as well as current and former aides, have rejected giving Maher's money back. Who said you can't buy loyalty?

Funny (not), how the president feels compelled to call a political/legal activist after she's called inappropriate names, yet he doesn't even think twice about ignoring "victims" when his own buddies say much, much worse.

As George Orwell wrote in "Animal Farm" - "All animals are equal but some animals are more equal than others."

Bonus: Apparently, the "get Rush" strategy is starting to have some blowback for the White House...

Where was he?

Over there!

Apparently, the Janitor on "Scrubs" wasn't the only one who knew Osama bin Laden was kicking back in Pakistan.

In an excerpt from the HBO show, "Real Time With Bill Maher," aired Oct. 3rd, 2008, ABC's Christiane Amanpour revealed that at least one person in US intelligence suspected Osama Bin Laden was residing in a comfortable villa inside Pakistan -- not a cave.

Somehow, the Pakistan government's story that they didn't know bin Laden was in town is getting easier to pick at...

Bill Maher: something's missing there...

...by the way, he's an idiot.

In the video below (courtesy of NewsBusters), George Clooney - often regarded as a liberal - sets Maher straight.

Here's the exchange from the transcript (the two are delving into Clooney's pet issue, Darfur) :

MAHER, HOST: So, you know, we have Rob Reiner on this time, and I've hit one of his big issues is gay marriage. He's not gay that we know. This is a big issue with you so that you're not Sudanese.

GEORGE CLOONEY: No.

MAHER: I think this is a big difference between liberals and conservatives. You know, I don't think conservatives are bad people. I think they have a hard time being empathetic to people who are not like them at all.

CLOONEY: Okay, now wait. I’ll tell you why, hang on a minute though. I'll tell you why that's not necessarily true. Because this movement, the Sudanese movement, Darfur, the north-south agreement were really truly embraced by the Right even more so than the Left.

So there you have it. Another example of Maher's intellectual dishonesty, laziness and shortcomings on display for all the world to see.

(Kudos to Clooney, a man who doesn't see eye-to-eye with many conservatives on various issues, for having the guts and integrity to call it like it is...)
