Hillary Clinton and "Smart Diplomacy"

In a 2011 interview on CBS' "Face The Nation," just days after Syrian troops had opened fire on peaceful protesters, then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton defended Syrian despot Bashar Al Assad as a "different leader" from his murderous, autocratic father and called him a "reformer."

Yeah, about that...

The Administration Scandal Game: Nixon or Obama?

This would be hilarious...if it wasn't so sad.

Maybe we can call this, "Who Wants To Be A Low-Information Voter"...?

When you're a liberal president and you've lost ol' Noam...

Noam Chomsky, the road-worn, notorious American-hating professor from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology must have Liberals spinning in their graves and/or desks of bureaucracy.

During a recent interview, Chomsky does the unthinkable: He asserts that Sarah Palin was right about Barack Obama and his "Hope & Change" promises.

Missing in action...

Reggie Love (President Barack Obama's "body man"/
personal assistant), said he and the president played cards during the Osama bin Laden raid, and that the president told him, "I can't watch this entire thing."

"Most people were like down in the Situation Room and [President Obama] was like, 'I'm not going to be down there, I can't watch this entire thing,' We must have played 15 games of spades," said Love at a public event.

Apologies in advance if this site's template/layout cuts off Love at the right side of the frame. If so, The Bliss Index recommends clicking on the YouTube link and going to its player. (Thank you for your understanding.)

Just remember: Barack Obama is the Commander in Chief...

The Less-Than-Artful Dodger...

(From the Washington Free Beacon) White House Press Secretary Jay Carney wouldn’t answer Fox News correspondent Ed Henry’s question today (Aug. 8, 2013) about reports on the CIA being on the ground the night of the Benghazi attack and whether operatives with information about it were being silenced by agency higher-ups.

Carney dodged, referring Henry to the CIA and claiming the agency had provided “an extraordinary amount of information” related to the attack. He also said he was not aware of any CIA employees who experienced retaliation, although a CNN report last week said there was an “unprecedented” effort by the agency to keep its Benghazi secrets from ever leaking out.

Watch the exchange (below):

Carney also dodged a question last week from Henry about CNN’s interview with an alleged Benghazi terrorist suspect and his claim to have never been contacted by the FBI.

He (and his boss) can dodge all they want: Benghazi ain't goin' away...
